CHADDS FORD OFFICE NOW OPEN

DNB First Announces New Chadds Ford Office

DOWNINGTOWN, Pennsylvania – June 12, 2007 – 13 is a lucky number for the businesses and residents of Chadds Ford and the local area. That’s because DNB First has announced the opening of its newest office in Chadds Ford, located at 300 Oakland Road, West Chester, PA 19382. The branch is its thirteenth for DNB and is part of their recent growth in the Delaware County area.

"When we explore opening a new branch, the first question we ask is ‘Can we offer the community something they don’t already have?’ We believe that this new office offers something that no other bank in the Chadds Ford area does: the DNB First commitment to quality service," notes William S. Latoff, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DNB First.

Part of that commitment began with the hiring of Donna Reeves as Branch Manager. "It seems as though everyone in the community already knows Donna and her reputation for excellence," notes William J. Hieb, President and Chief Operating Officer of DNB First. "She has a significant role in many community and civic groups, including the Concordville/Chadds Ford Rotary of which she will become President in July. We are pleased to be able to have Donna join our team and lead our efforts in Delaware County."

The office opened with a Ribbon Cutting celebration on Tuesday, June 12th followed by a Grand Opening Celebration scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd. Food will be supplied by local favorite Jimmy Johns, another long-time Chester County business. Entertainment will include a moon bounce and face painters for youngsters, Wilmington Blue Rocks ball players signing autographs, music and a caricature artist. All food and entertainment is being provided free. Families are invited to attend between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The afternoon will conclude with a grand prize drawing for a luxury suite for up to 20 people at the Frawley Stadium, home of the Wilmington Blue Rocks stadium. Entry into the prize drawing is also free. Entry forms are available at the branch.

"There are many banks around and mergers going on all around us," notes Hieb. "I believe that our 147 year history in the community and our careful, planned growth make a strong statement about the difference we offer."

DNB First, National Association, a wholly owned subsidiary of DNB Financial Corporation, a $498 million community bank headquartered in Chester County, Pennsylvania, is the oldest independent bank in the county with thirteen offices. In addition to a broad array of consumer banking products, DNB offers commercial and construction lending, commercial leasing, cash management, brokerage and insurance through DNB Financial Services, and trust services through DNB Advisors.
